Volunteers Give Foster Care a Much-Needed Paint Job with Mural
Episcopal Social Services has partnered with CITYarts to work with a group of volunteers from University of Mississippi on a mural project at our Manhattan office. The volunteers gave one of our Foster Care waiting rooms a much needed paint job.
About 120 college students from Mississippi came to New York City for their Honors Service Trip and a we had the pleasure of having nine students help out one of our programs. Even some of the children coming in for visits helped out!
Art came together with sevice as CITYarts and University of Mississippi worked hard to paint a Lion King and Tarzan themed mural. HomeDepot graciously donated $100 for supplies and paint. Thanks to HomeDepot, CITYarts and University of Mississippi for everything!
