We’d like to congratulate Lisa Soto for being February’s Volunteer of the Month!! We appreciate her hard work serving in our Foster Care department as a Case Aid. Lisa has been dedicated to assisting our Caseworkers with their caseloads and paperwork. Steve Wollbeck, one of the Supervisors in our Foster Care Department expressed that, “Lisa will gain great experience and confidence that will help her for her future career in Social Work, as a result of volunteering for ESS!” Thank you Lisa for your committment to serving Episcopal Social Services!
Teens from our Queens programs joined local officials, community members, and representatives of law enforcement for a conversation about current events, and the future of police/community relations. See more from our "Ripped From the Headlines" Panel.
Students in our Hunts Point Summer Program can teach you a thing or two about staying healthy this summer. See how they’re keeping their community in shape.
Some of our youngest students are taking big steps toward their futures at the Early Head Start Graduation in the South Bronx, joined by our board members and proud families and staff. Congratulations on your first big academic achievement!
The halls at ESS are buzzing with activity as we prepare to send 3,000 kids in our programs back to school. A gift of just $20 or more provides the tools for a child to succeed this school year.
Will you give $20 or more to our back-to-school campaign?
