To honor International Women’s Month, our Early Head Start program hosted its second annual Fashion Show at our Bronx offices. Parents of the children in our care modeled outfits from their home countries – Senegal, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Gambia.
All the women looked beautiful wearing traditional dresses and outfits and were honored with a bouqet of flowers at the end.
Children at our Harlem Early Childhood Education center played the role of young diplomats as they welcomed the First Lady of the City to their learning center, and showed her the special role early education plays in their lives.
Investing in children's health makes good sense. At ESS, we provide healthcare, dental care, and mental health services that children could otherwise not access. It helps all of us in the long run!
Today marks the 2nd anniversary of the sudden passing of our dear friend and dedicated leader Christine Molnar. We honor her vision and her legacy, continuing her work in service of children and families in crisis. Our Safe Space Jamaica Community Youth Center was recently dedicated in her memory.
