Other ways to Help

Memorial or Honorarium Gift: Give in memory of a loved one or if you have a friend “who has everything” recognize their special occasion by making a gift to ESS in their honor.

Corporate Gift, Match or Sponsorship: Corporate support plays a big role in the success of our fundraising efforts.  Corporations may give year round, or sponsorship of one of our program or fundraising events may be good for business!  If you make a personal gift, don’t forget to ask for your company’s matching gift form to double the impact of your donation.

Planned Giving: Consider including ESS in your estate plan.  A bequest to ESS is an ideal way to ensure we can continue to transform the lives and communities of every New Yorker in need.

Vehicle Donation: You can help children in need simply by donating you car, boat, truck, RV, or trailer, no matter its condition. It’s convenient, free, easy, and tax-deductible. Simply complete the brief car donation form and either fax it to Episcopal Social Services at 212-989-1132, or e-mail it to: info@e-s-s.org and we’ll do the rest! A towing service will pick up the car, at your convenience, from any location within the U.S., and provide you with a donation receipt. Please note that you must be in possession of the car’s title in order to donate a car. ESS recommends that you obtain the value of your donated car, take photographs of the vehicle prior to towing, and consult with your financial advisor regarding the amount of tax deduction to claim to ensure compliance with IRS regulations.

GoodSearch and GoodShop: Simply use GoodSearch when searching on the internet and use GoodShop to access more than 1,000 online stores.  Every search earns a penny and shopping online earns an additional bonus for Episcopal Social Services.  Neither costs you anything and these are many of the same merchants you already use.  You can earn money for ESS simply by doing what you already do on the internet, when you go through GoodSearch and GoodShop.
